For this week’s Essential Worker Spotlight, we would like to introduce you to William Randolph. William is a Professional Automated Side Loader Drive. Get to know more about William below!
- What Company do you work for, how long have you been there, and what is your title?
- Orion Waste Solutions in Clearwater, Florida. I have been a Professional Residential Automated Side Loader Driver for 1 year and 3 months
- Tell us a little about yourself- family, hobbies, interests, etc.
- I am a family man, married to my lovely wife with 4 awesome grown children. I enjoy playing guitar and consider myself a custodian and collector of historical documents
- What is a typical work day like for you?
- I always plan my day out in advance and work as efficiently as possible. I am very meticulous about my truck and pride myself in doing a thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspection. Without my truck in excellent operation condition I cannot provide my service at the level my customers expect and deserve.
- What’s the most rewarding thing about your job?
- I believe I am very good at what I do! I enjoy being the unsung hero of our industry while providing my customers with awesome service
- Have you ever worked on or with a BTR truck? If so, please tell us about your experience.

- Yes I have, the truck was delivered very clean and ran extremely well
- Anything else you want to share?
- I am proud to say I have never had an at fault injury or accident in my professional driving career! Also while I was with my previous company, I earned all of the safety awards during every year of service
