BTR, www.poweredbybtr.com, announced today that Scott Smith has been promoted to Sr. Director of Refuse Sales for the company. Scott is responsible for execution of rental and off-rent truck sales for all BTR North American Regions for our refuse business and will report to Vice President of Refuse Sales, Pete Hendrickson.
“We’re really excited for what Scott is going to do in this role. He has tremendous industry experience having spent 10 years at Otto as the East Region Sales Director before coming to BTR in 2018. In his time at BTR, he has been focused specifically on growing our Municipal business and has had tremendous success in shaping the way Municipalities view Vocational Truck Rental with results to back it. His experience leading a team at Otto covering all segments of the Refuse business, combined with the dedicated focus on one of the more complex sales channels here at BTR, position him perfectly for this new role,” said Hendrickson.
“My 15 years in this industry have been extremely rewarding and I owe it all to the colleagues who have supported me and the customers that I have been able to serve along the way.
