Big Truck Rental is the leader in Front Loader, Side Loader, Rear Loader and Roll-Off garbage truck rentals in North America, all backed by a nationally serviced and supported fleet. Big Truck Rental began in 2002 and is a growing organization that is looking to expand our already successful sales team. Big Truck Rental is a customer-focused organization that is seeking a highly motivated and success-oriented Customer Service Representative. This position will be responsible for providing best in class customer service by directly supporting customers as well as the BTR sales and operations team’s needs. This position will report to the Sales Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

Customer Service Specific Tasks

    • Support customer processes including weekly updates
    • Execute truck sale quotes
    • Ensure proper documentation for rental and sold trucks has been received to include sales orders, BOL’s, contracts, titles, insurance, etc.
    • Proactively communicate and manage truck delivery date expectations with customers

Operational Sales Support Specific Tasks

    • Various document creation and management tasks such as sales orders, bills of
      ladings, reviewing insurance coverage documentation.
    • Monitor & manage rental truck utilization to meet customer expectations for pre-sold
      trucks
    • Manage truck inventory & partner with the rental team to identify trucks for specific sales
      opportunities
    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute truck swaps as needed for
      sold trucks
    • Manage rental and potential sales truck inventory to “red flag” overutilized trucks with
      the goal of <200 hours/ month
    • Provide SalesForce reports to Sales Manager and Director of Route Ready Sales
    • Execute on inbound lead follow up
    • Conduct outbound e-blasts with the dealership network

Measuring Customer Satisfaction Specific Tasks

    • Execute customer care calls for both rental and sold trucks
    • Monitor, track, and report survey results.
    • Send final Route Ready Truck Inspections to customers prior to receiving trucks
    • Execute satisfaction survey after trucks have been delivered
    • Implement and manage BTR customer care packages for new and existing customers.

General Functions

    • SalesForce projects such as clean up database and implementation of new initiatives
    • Participate in Big Truck Rental Sales Excellence training.
    • Occasionally represent Big Truck Rental at industry functions and trade shows
    • Utilize SalesForce to communicate, organize, and document your and the team’s efforts

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with employees and
    customers
  • Disciplined & strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Adequate use of web-based applications (SalesForce), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to drive a car and possess a valid and current driver’s license
